ABOUT WHEELIE FRESH BINS

Wheelie Fresh Bins is Cambridge's first all female bin cleaning company. It was established by 2 busy mums who could no longer stand the smell and unwelcome insect life in their bins.

They were sure there were lots of people like them who didn't have the time, found the task difficult . or, frankly, couldn't think of anything worse to do.

If you don't clean your bin the day it has been emptied, you've missed your window of opportunity and . suddenly . it's full of rubbish again!

The bottom line for Jeni and Mandy is that they love their work and take a real pride in what they do.

CREDENTIALS

We are members of the National Association of Wheeled Bin Washers. The framework we operate within is set out by the Environment Agency, Local Councils and Water Providers to ensure an environmentally safe & legal procedure.

Our cleaning process uses only 100% biodegradable products and our state of the art, purpose-built equipment lifts and cleans the bin. The ecologically friendly process recycles the wash water so our mobile washing units, which carry in excess of 400 litres of water, have sufficient supplies for a full day's work. At the end of the day, the water is discharged at an approved water authority location.

Wheelie Fresh Bins has been awarded Four Star status by The Green Organisation for promoting effective measures needed to protect and enhance the environment. Membership of the Green Organisation is restricted to companies and councils who can demonstrate the effective measures they have introduced for the benefit of the environment.
